Frequently asked questions

What exactly does Counsel Clouds offer to schools? Counsel Clouds offers subscription-based access to mindful mental health resources to support students. As part of the subscription, schools receive QR posters which help them to start a school-wide conversation about a specific topic. Students have unlimited access to the courses during the annual subscription.

How does the subscription model work? Schools can purchase an annual subscription. Students will have unlimited access to mental health content. Website content is dropped at specific times during the academic year to address common pastoral themes, for example, during peak stress periods like exams or transitions.

Do the resources include professional therapy or just self-help content? Counsel Clouds offers self-help content. Courses are mostly mindfulness based, but often have practical learning tips included. The courses are collaboratively written by our professional clinical team.

How can we get started? Getting started is easy: 1. Contact us to discuss your school’s needs. 2. Choose a plan that fits your requirements. Start accessing support for students, staff, and the wider school community. Please email info@counselclouds.com if you have any further questions.

Can students access the resources anytime during the school’s subscription period? Yes! Once the school’s subscription is activated, students have unlimited access to the resources for the year. This allows students to access materials at their convenience and when they need them most.

How do the resources help students? Our resources are specifically designed to address the mental health challenges students face during high-stress periods. Topics include exam anxiety, building resilience, stress management, mindfulness practices, and navigating transitions. These tools are crafted to help students manage their stress, improve their mental health, and feel better equipped to handle difficult situations.

How do I know which resources will be most helpful for my students? We provide curated content based on common student needs. During the subscription period, we’ll offer resources specifically tailored to address students' current stresses, like exam anxiety or back-to-school transitions. Additionally, schools can provide feedback to help us customise content further, ensuring it aligns with their needs.

What if my school cannot afford the subscription fee? We offer a ‘pay as you can’ model, meaning no school should be excluded from using our service because of financial constraints. We believe all students deserve access to mental health support. Schools that cannot afford the full cost may still be able to access the service based on their budget or may opt to sponsor another school to provide mutual support.
